Rules Worth Breaking: What Would You Do?

Every founder has faced a moment when the accepted wisdom no longer feels like the right answer.

In this highly interactive session, we'll explore real decisions and dilemmas submitted by startup founders. Rather than sitting through another panel discussion or keynote, attendees will become active participants in the decision-making process.

Each founder case will begin with a familiar business "rule" or piece of conventional advice. The audience will then vote: Follow It, Break It or Rewrite It.

Founders are invited to share their situation with the room, and our panel of experienced founders and business leaders will respond. With only two questions each before offering their perspective, panellists must quickly identify the assumptions, risks, opportunities and trade-offs underlying the decision. The goal isn't to arrive at a single correct answer. It's to expose the thinking process behind high-stakes founder

decisions and give attendees practical insight into how experienced leaders navigate uncertainty.

Throughout the session, the audience and panel will collectively challenge, refine and rewrite conventional wisdom. We'll close by capturing these insights in The New Founder Playbook: a set of founder principles generated from the real decisions explored in the room.

Because sometimes the most valuable question isn't ‘What's the right answer?’ It's ‘How would you think about it?’
