What’s one thing about living, working, moving around or building a business in Auckland that should work better? Bring that problem here.

FIX ONE THING: AUCKLAND is a hands-on build session for founders, operators, executives, AI builders, product people, designers, developers and anyone who has been sitting on an idea they want to finally build.

When you register, you’ll submit a real problem or product idea. We’ll collect the best ones into a live ideas board (A app that was built on Base44).

On the day, browse the board, choose the problem you care about most, and find the other people who picked it too.

Teams of up to four form around shared problems, so instead of networking around a name badge, you build relationships by actually working on something together.

Then you build.

Using Base44, your team will take the idea as far as possible in one afternoon. The goal is not a throwaway prototype or a pitch deck.

It’s a working product you can test, share, keep building, and potentially turn into something much bigger after Startup Week.

No coding experience is required.

Every role matters: product, design, technical, industry knowledge, storytelling and commercial thinking.

The strongest teams will pitch to our judges, with NZ$1,200 in prizes for the top three.

NZ$10 gets you in the room, plus one month of Base44 Builder free.

Come with a problem. Leave with a product, a team, and potentially the start of your next business.
